A huge welcome
i am a very experienced LONDON-BASED (greenwich) SINGING TEACHER AND VOCAL COACH.
In addition to in-person singing lessons in my dedicated Greenwich studio, I also teach internationally on-line.
If you are looking for self-paced remote learning, please have a look at my online singing course at the Singing Detective. All students undertaking 1-2-1 singing lesson with me can purchase the course at a hugely discounted £49.50, which includes downloadable warm-ups and exercises. Just ask me for your personal code.
To find out about me and what to expect from a singing lesson, please watch the explanatory video at the top of this page. Here are some quick links to get to the important mattersof my training and information about fees and location and how to book a lesson.
My clients come from all over the world and include absolute beginners along with established professionals in need of fine-tuning. I have helped actors, dancers, business professionals, teachers and ‘ordinary’ curious people, to find their singing voices. My clients get opportunities to write and record their own songs and to perform in regular concerts in a beautiful little theatre in Covent Garden. Please scroll down to view students in action at a previous show.
In addition to gaining a PGCert in Vocal Pedagogy, I have recently passed my exam to gain a Certificate in Applied Neuroscience and Voice facilitated by Associate Professor Heidi Moss-Erickson through the Voice Study Centre and am also proud to say that I achieved a distinction in the ITOL Certificate of Vocal Pedagogy a gruelling 40-hour practical course delivered by esteemed voice scientist, Kerrie Obert (the Voice Study Centre & Ohio State University). Additionally, I am currently studying for a Masters in Professional Practice (Vocal Pedagogy) through the University of Wales. I love learning about the voice and my practice is underpinned by scientific evidence and published research. I maintain a focus on the core elements of vocal technique (breathing, posture, vocal placement and tonal quality) and performance psychology, allowing my clients to develop as artists, musicians and performers.
I hope the video above gives you a good overview, but if you have any questions, please do get in touch.
